“De fietsgids” has been around in Mechelen since 2020. In 2023 we expanded our story and added “De wandelgids” to our offer.

Who am I?

Hello, I’m Kaat, founder of “de fietsgids” in Mechelen.

I’m full of energy and juggle several jobs and countless passions: I’m an enthusiastic bike and walking guide in Mechelen, a passionate Dutch teacher for non-native speakers, an adventurous tour leader for Joker, a proud mum and a driven entrepreneur. My goal is to promote sustainable tourism and mobility, and to help put Mechelen even more firmly on the tourist map.
